This world used to be fuel for a great flame
But now its just ash
Its denizens scratch at the ground, searching for a spark
To relight their flame from centuries ago.
It seems, though, that they've looked to new horizons.
A distant light.
Perhaps their world is dead.
But it seems people still create ones of their own all the same.
Maybe these creatures, too, could learn to create instead of destroy.
